Do I need an appointment for an X-Ray?

No. X-Rays are done on a walk-in basis. Please bring your OHIP card and imaging requisition with you on the day of your exam.

Is there any preparation required for my appointment?

If you are unsure of the preparation for your test, please call us and we will be happy to let you know.

What should I bring on the day of my appointment?

On the day of your appointment, you should have the imaging requisition from the doctor and your OHIP card

I have a digital copy of my requisition. What should I do?

If possible, print out the requisition before coming to your appointment. If not, you can email the requisition to our email, bookings@mdcimaging.com, and we can print it out at our clinic. When you check in for your appointment, let the receptionist know that you sent your requisition to our email.

How long does it take to get the results?

It usually takes 2-3 business days for reports to be sent to your referring doctor. Sometimes, it can take up to 14 business days for the report to be written depending on the study that was requested. Once the report has been sent to your referring doctor, they should give you a call to discuss the results further.
